How it will be implemented

How the strategy will be implemented
The strategy should make clear how the policies in it will be put into practice.

For example, it could be through the local development framework or local transport plans or some other means.

The Government wants each regional planning body to have an implementation plan with timescales so that the strategy translates into action.

The regional planning body has to produce an annual monitoring report to show whether policy is being implemented and if not, what it intends to do to improve things.

The monitoring report has to include data on the indicators agreed as part of the consultation process.

You could try to make sure that indicators reflect social and environmental goals are included.
